South Beach = Fountain of Youth?

So, the funniest thing just happened...my good friend just dropped me off at home after dinner at my building, but before going upstairs to my apartment, I stopped at the concierge to pick up some packages that had arrived...well, 2 were there, and 1 was quite large, so I was dragging it to the elevator, and was going to stop to check my mailbox, when suddenly a man appeared before me...seemed to have jumped out from the elevators and wanted to "help" me!! Well, I thought, this may never happen again, so I better take him up on his offer, and get the rest of my mail tomorrow...so, he helped drag my big package over, and as we get in the elevator...one other person was with us...then the other person gets out on a lower floor, and this man looks me directly in the eyes, and says that he was"waiting for me...because (he) saw me," and he told me that he thinks that I am "the most beautiful woman he has ever seen!" He said he doesn't have to work, and just moved here a few months ago...told me his name, and wants to give me his phone number, so that I can call him "ANYTIME"...so, he can take me to "Bal Harbor to dinner!!" He looked young, so I asked him his age...he responded "35"...
..then I remembered how the other night, after the chiropractic event I had gone to, but I'd been told by a local guy, that he would be at a fun place in Orlando with live music at 9pm with friends...I don't usually go out that late, so I told them that I doubt I will make it, but then when the event that I had been attending as part of my "work" ended earlier than I'd expected, I thought that I would like to go to a place nearby and hear some music, and see the crowd!! So I went, without telling the man who had invited me, and when he surprisingly found out I was there, he text that he didn't realize I was coming, and had been running late, so I just started without him and his friends...ordered myself a drink, and started listening to the music until another guy came and sat down next to me...so we got to know each other a little bit, friendly conversation, so that by the time the guy who had invited me showed up with his friends, the guy who I'd met at the bar told this guy that it was a good thing that he showed up, because he was "starting to fall in love with me!"  Ok, now I'm no spring chicken...age: 49, I take pretty good care of myself, but I'm just saying I did get married early, age 23, and had 4 kids for the next 6 years after that, and then was married for 17 years, but I just think that men in Florida are different.  honestly, though I really had only had brief experience dating before I got married in Indiana, and then a little in Panama, before moving back to the states...Definitely, I think men here are more forward....at least, for sure, I can say they are in South Beach! The kind of things like this never happened to me before I lived in South Beach for the last 2 1/2 yrs....Like there was the time that I came home one night after a date dropped me off in front of my building in South Beach, and another man followed me up to my apartment, and wanted to ...umm for lack of better words...get to know me...Many women think that men here in Miami are no good, and only want a 1 night stand...I believe there are good men to be found anywhere...whether it be on a dating sight or standing in a bar, the side of the street or "en lo calle," as the latin say...or in the grocery store...so there is that way of looking at it, or as I choose to look at it as a great compliment...A testament that something is working for me...whether it be the clean diet I keep, the balanced life I lead, the great friends whom I've found, the beautiful location where I live...have I found the fountain of youth? I'm not sure, but clearly, something is working for me!!!
