Take Care of Those Feet

7:51 AM
It is easy to forget to care for your feet.
I mean, really, who sees them?!
Well, for one: YOU DO!!
My mother always taught me that the first one you want to look good for is YOURSELF.

I have found that caring for your whole body is important, because it is all about self-love.
When you keep your body consistently, as I call it: "CURRENT,"
it will take less time to get ready as an important event comes up!
When you are constantly caring for yourself, you may find that the world cares for you more.
It is part of the law of attraction.
Self love attracts love from the Universe itself.
Your feet should not be forgotten!!
Without your feet, you can't be active!
What can be more important than the part of your body that actually
TRANSPORTS you from PLACE to PLACE!!!??!!
Make sure to get a regular pedicure, (I usually get 1 every 3-4 weeks.)
Keep those calluses, bunions, blisters, dry skin, peeling skin, cuts, hang-nails
...all frequently cleaned up,
and your feet kept up to date!
(it is as important for men as for women!)
Since I usually get my fingernails done every 2 weeks, every other appointment,
I also schedule a pedicure!

I find that when I keep my toe-nails short, they do not rub the ends of my shoes, giving me foot pain.
Since I am now getting older (going to celebrate 50 years on July 21st, 2018!),
I have found it beneficial to lower my high heels to thin or thick lower heels, wedges and even slide on heels that I can slide off my feet when I am walking around South Beach a lot, as I do!

Only thing is that you need to keep aware of your environment, as you are walking around barefoot to be sure there is no glass or objects that you cannot see (if it is dark)...
Walking around holding your shoes, can be great as you change locations,
but you just need to be super aware,
and not intoxicated...
if you expect to be drinking alcohol,
I always find it wiser to just be wearing flat shoes to also avoid any falls,
in case your caught off-balance.
Another secret that I have found to be beneficial with footwear is also BOOTS!!
We can't always wear them here in Florida, because it is only cold enough for a couple of months, but you better bet that just as soon as the temperature dips below 75degrees,
I am pulling out those babies, because I can even wear a FLAT boot,
and it will give the illusion of sexy,
just by the way it fits my leg!
I have found that with boots, I no longer need to be wearing HIGH heels anymore!!
With a low heel boot, still, I've been told will look quite sexy, as well as a flat boot!

So above are two perfect examples of great looks with a boot that are sexy,
yet great for foot care because you are wearing a low heel,
and the fitting supports your leg, as well...easier to walk.
The first in the Santa hat, I wore that flat boot all throughout South Beach on a charity Christmas Bar Crawl event last December 2017, and the 2nd one on the right was a lower heel boot I wore to a Chiropractic College Dance Event in San Francisco, end of 2017.

In closing, there is also some great foot inserts out there that can help improve your
comfort level when placed in your shoe!
For ideas, we have some great orthopedic insole advertisers in
 THE AMERICAN CHIROPRACTOR MAGAZINE,
that have products that you can request at your next visit to your chiropractor that you can see in our digital copy online at www.theamericanchiropractor.com!

I recommend to take care of your feet, and your feet will take care of YOU!

  1. Thanks for posting this eye-opener. Some people just neglect the importance of their foot health. I hope the will start to take care of their feet and start visiting foot clinics like Podiatrist Warrnambool.
