South Beach...It's a Lifestyle!

4:43 PM
I woke up yesterday (Sunday, April 27, 2019)...in my big comfy bed...not sure I wanted to get up, but it being the weekend, I kinda thought maybe I should go to one of my favorite spots for breakfast.  But, alas, I did not.  Instead I remembered my intermittent diet, and decided to go without food til at least noon.  (Intermittent Diets only allow food between 12-8pm)

I'm also trying out this Epigenetics, and a customized nutrition plan...look for me to tell you about it that if it works for me, and starts to make me feel and look better.  So far, after one week on the powder created from my hair sample test, I am noticing a clearer head and more energy.             YAY!!

Saturday turned out to be amazing.  I have been dating a guy, who I thought was pretty special, but then after one month, I realized that I have never seen him on his day off, and also some other unanswered questions have come up recently, so when I met a handsome married man on Friday night at Monty's, who also had a couple of friends (1 unmarried guy and 1 gay guy), and a 58 ft yacht, docked nearby in the Miami Beach Harbor, and he invited me and a girlfriend to go boating the next day, I thought this sounded amazing.

I decided that I had not been out on the water in awhile, and I owed it to myself...no matter what happened, to just enjoy myself!  All I had to do was find a girlfriend, who wanted to do a boat trip within' the hour on a Saturday!   (Easier than you think!)

Honestly, it was the perfect day on the water....just as beautiful as it could be, and the men were perfect gentlemen, especially the married guy, who owned the boat...such a great host for everyone!

I think they just wanted some female hormones traveling around on the boat with them, possibly with the option of topless, but only jokes were made of this!

They even had lobster sandwiches from Joe's Stone Crab take out for us to enjoy!!

So, after such a great Saturday, I really wasn't sure how Sunday could beat it!

Then just as I ordered myself a cheeseburger and crinkle fries (not my normal diet), one of my local South Beach crowd sent me a message.  It was simply: "Smith"

I knew what this meant...My friend, we'll call him simply: "O" was at Smith, and as he would say, he "needs back-up."  Which simply means...he wants my company!!

PERFECT!!

I happily cancelled my burger, and got dressed for Smith and Wollensky, where I could get a Cheeseburger, and fries or onion rings, and "O" offered to get this for me, and the burgers are huge, so we split it!!
(this is my weekend treat, but honestly, last weekend I did too much of this...back to clean diet, non fried and no carbs this week!!), which you can see from the little chunky videos posted on my www.facebook.com/BeingTracy/ page!!  I'm only 5'2, the chunk builds up quickly over the weekend!!

After our lunch, O and I went to Monty's to meet more of our South Beach crowd of friends.
We usually all sit together, and joke and drink and tell stories....it is the weekend!!
Why NOT!?

Then, our crowd all walked down the familiar Southpointe path to the Murano Portofino (passed an iguana), a home for some of our crowd.  More joking...more laughing...more stories...meatballs, Nathan's mini hotdogs ("amazing" said the girl who no longer eats grocery store frozen food...ME!) in a blanket, wine on delivery.  It was a day created in heaven!!

We all knew we had this Paella party at 5pm that the building was hosting, but the more we sat and visited, the less we wanted to leave and go anywhere else!!!

Finally, 2 of the girls and I went to check the party out downstairs.  Turned out it had FREE champagne, wines, fruit, and paella full of all kinds of seafood from shrimp to lobster, a DJ, and seats and tables all around, as well as NEW PEOPLE we had never met before!!  Well, one thing we all have in common is the desire to meet and great and get to know new people...especially neighbors!!

So, we went downstairs.  We visited, we had paella, wine, and then when the music changed to more of a dancing beat...let's say "Hits from the 80's,"
(this is my genre...I know all of the words from these songs)
I jumped out on the dancefloor.

One of the few...performing...
(was it a coincidence?) The next song they played was "Brick House."
Oh, yeah, I was feeling right at home now.

Feeling festive, and fully enjoying the moment, and this wonderful group of friends that I am so grateful to be a part of.  I have heard people speak of us.  They say: "they are tight group."
I can tell you, FOR SURE, we are a cast of characters!!

The married guy who had us out on the boat Saturday was startled to find that once we got out on the water to the Nixon Sandbar, from the Miami Beach Harbor, his "boat neighbors" were out there too, and we knew each other.  A married couple, who knew this "married guy's" wife.
He just kept saying, "if only they didn't know you,"and "HOW do you KNOW each other!?!"

Now mind you, he gave me no impression that he was about to attempt to cheat on his wife.
But, as one of his friends earlier told me, "he is all talk and no action."

However, I assured the married guy: it is a very small community:
Southpoint on South Beach,
and make no mistake:
We ALL know each other.
Just as we were finished with the building's Paella party,
we went upstairs for an after-party, to the condo where we started, with more fellowship and laughter, and then amazing looking PIZZAS also greeted us,
(yeah, my diet was in a downward spiral at this point!)
before Monday started our week this morning!
